New Delhi: A day after causing controversy with the offensive remark made about her clothes, actress Shweta Tiwari issued an official statement, requesting an apology from all who’s feelings are hurt.

It’s been brought to my attention that a specific declaration of mine that referred to the previous position of a colleague was misinterpreted and is being misinterpreted. If you look at it in the context, it is clear the meaning of the phrase to “Bhagwan” was in relation to Sourabh Raj Jain’s cult character as a god. Many people associate the names of characters with actors, and I used it as an example in my discussion with the media. However, it was completely misinterpreted which is heartbreaking to witness. As an unwavering believer in ‘Bhagwan for a long time I can’t imagine that I could deliberately or unintentionally perform anything that could hurt feelings in general. However, I’ve learned that when it is taken in isolation in a way, it can hurt people’s feelings. I assure you that it was never my intention to harm anyone with any of my statements or acts. Therefore, I’d apologize for the hurt comment has caused to a number of people. #shwetatiwari

The untrue Shweta Tiwari’s controversial comment she made at a press conference of her performance in Bhopal was a source of irritation for many. The actress allegedly made reference to God in a comment regarding her clothing. Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra urged police to look into her comment and file the report in the next 24 hours.

“I have been informed and strongly denounce the incident. I have instructed the police commissioner in Bhopal to investigate the matter and provide an immediate report. Then we will look at what actions is required in the situation, “minister Mishra told reporters on Thursday, as per PTI report.
